WHO WE SERVE

Industries We Serve

Every industry moves a different load — and every load needs a different trailer. STU Trailers engineers lowbed, low loader, flatbed, mixer and car carrier semi-trailers around the exact cargo, route and regulation your sector works under. From 100-tonne crane transports to daily excavator moves between sites, our units are on duty in 60 countries.

STU Trailers is a semi-trailer manufacturer based in Konya, Türkiye, producing heavy-duty and special-purpose trailers for industrial, construction and logistics operators across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Our production line covers lowbed and low loader trailers, extendable and hydraulic-steering lowbeds, tipper trailers, concrete mixer trailers, flatbed and platform trailers, mechanical-steering flatbeds, container chassis and car carrier trailers. Every unit is built from S690QL or Strenx® 700MC high-strength steel and can be specified with SAF, BPW, GIGANT, VALX or TRAX axles and WABCO or Knorr-Bremse EBS braking, in full compliance with EU road regulations. Because each chassis is engineered to order rather than pulled from stock, axle count, deck height, extension length and superstructure are matched to the cargo profile of the industry it will serve.

Heavy Haulage & Abnormal Loads

STU builds extendable and hydraulic-steering lowbed trailers for heavy haulage contractors moving cargo beyond standard road limits. Our low loader range spans 2 to 8 axles, with 6- and 8-axle extendable configurations built for transports above 100 tonnes: mobile and crawler cranes, transformers, bridge girders, wind tower sections, long steel beams, pipelines and boats. Hydraulic steering runs from a wireless remote or the control panel, letting long combinations clear roundabouts and city approaches that would otherwise force a route change. Chassis are laser-cut and welded from S690QL or Strenx® 700MC high-strength steel, keeping tare weight low and payload high. Detachable or hydraulic goosenecks, pendular axles, hydraulic suspension and eight 16-tonne lashing rings per side are specified project by project. Axles are available from SAF, BPW, GIGANT, VALX or TRAX in 9, 11, 12 and 14-tonne capacities; braking is WABCO or Knorr-Bremse EBS. Every unit is load-tested before it leaves the factory.

Automotive & Vehicle Logistics

STU builds car carrier trailers for vehicle logistics operators, dealer groups and manufacturer outbound fleets. Our 6-car carrier is engineered around the geometry of modern passenger vehicles, with adjustable decks that let the operator reconfigure levels for mixed loads of sedans, SUVs and light commercials without losing a slot. Loading and unloading speed is what governs cost per vehicle on this work, so deck actuation, ramp angles and securing points are designed for single-operator handling. High-strength steel construction keeps unladen weight down, which directly raises the number of vehicles carried within EU axle-load limits. Galvanised and Akzo Nobel-coated surfaces protect the structure through years of open-deck exposure, and every unit is delivered in full compliance with EU road regulations for cross-border vehicle transport.

Ready-Mix Concrete & Precast

STU builds concrete mixer trailers and mechanical-steering flatbeds for ready-mix producers and precast concrete plants. Our mixer trailers are produced in volumes up to 14.7 m³, giving batching plants a far higher delivery volume per trip than a truck-mounted mixer while staying within legal axle loads. Precast work brings a different problem: long, heavy and awkward elements — beams, panels, pipes and bridge segments — that have to reach sites through narrow industrial roads. Our 3-axle mechanical-steering flatbed follows the tractor's path far more tightly than a rigid chassis, cutting swept path and reducing manoeuvring damage. All units use S690QL or Strenx® 700MC steel with WABCO or Knorr-Bremse EBS braking, and can be specified with extended platforms and reinforced lashing points for concrete element transport.

Machinery Dealers & Equipment Distributors

STU builds lowbed and low loader trailers for construction machinery dealers, forklift distributors and equipment importers who deliver their own machines. For a dealership, the trailer is a delivery asset that has to handle every model on the price list — from a 3-tonne mini excavator to a forklift, telehandler, wheel loader, mobile crusher, transformer or generator set. Our 2-, 3- and 4-axle lowbeds, in fixed and extendable versions, cover that spread on a single unit. Hydraulic ramps make loading a one-person job on site, detachable wooden platform sections let machines with wide tyres sit safely on the deck, and detachable 20ft and 40ft container locks turn the same trailer into a container carrier on the return leg. Extendable models add reach for long booms and telescopic handlers. For dealers running multiple deliveries a day, that flexibility means one trailer instead of three.

Road Freight & Intermodal Logistics

STU builds flatbed trailers, platform trailers and container chassis for road freight operators and intermodal logistics companies. Our container chassis are produced for 20ft, 30ft, 40ft and 45ft units, with twist-lock layouts configured for the container mix each fleet actually runs. For general freight, our flatbed and platform trailers carry steel coils, machinery, construction materials and palletised cargo across export corridors. Optimised axle configurations and high-strength steel construction cut tare weight, and full compliance with EU road regulations keeps units legal from Türkiye through to Western Europe. Specifications are matched to route and cargo profile rather than sold from stock, so payload is maximised for the work the fleet does daily.

Construction & Municipal Works

STU builds lowbed trailers, low loaders and tippers for construction contractors and municipal fleets. On an active site the trailer that decides the schedule is the one moving plant: excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, telehandlers and compactors have to reach the next job without a permit delay. Our 2-, 3- and 4-axle lowbeds handle that spread on one unit, with hydraulic ramps for loading on unprepared ground and detachable goosenecks for low approach angles. Side loader trailers let a driver lift and place 1x20ft, 2x20ft, 1x30ft or 1x45ft containers without a yard crane — decisive for port drayage, customs yards and depots with no lifting equipment. Municipal operations run the same equipment under harsher duty cycles — road maintenance, winter operations, waste and infrastructure work — so deck structures, ramp hinges and suspension are specified for daily use rather than seasonal work. Alongside plant movement, our flatbeds carry formwork, scaffolding, pipes and prefabricated components, and tipper units are available for aggregate and debris where a contractor wants a single supplier across the whole site fleet.

Agriculture, Grain & Forestry

STU builds drawbar trailers, tippers and flatbeds for farms, grain traders, agricultural cooperatives and forestry operators. Field conditions punish equipment differently than road work does — soft ground, uneven loading, seasonal peaks — so chassis are reinforced at the stress points that fail first on farm duty. Our drawbar remorque range handles crops, fertiliser, feed and baled material, while tipper units serve grain movement between field, silo and processing plant. Harvest windows are short, so unloading speed decides how many trips a machine completes in a day. Tipping systems and tailgate mechanisms are built for fast, repeated cycles without hydraulic fade. For forestry and timber work, platform configurations with stanchions and reinforced lashing points secure logs and sawn timber over rough access roads. The same low-maintenance construction that suits heavy haulage keeps seasonal downtime and service cost low for agricultural operators.

Steel, Energy & Project Cargo

STU builds coil-recessed flatbeds and extendable lowbeds for steel mills, energy contractors and project cargo forwarders. Steel coils concentrate enormous weight into a small footprint, so coil wells, reinforced cross-members and dedicated lashing arrangements are engineered into the chassis rather than added afterwards. The same platforms carry billets, plate, structural profiles and long tube. Energy and project work moves in the opposite direction — light relative to its size but impossible to fit on a standard deck. Wind tower sections, blades, transformers, generator sets and pipeline segments are handled on our extendable lowbeds, which reach up to 8 axles with hydraulic steering for site access on unimproved roads. S690QL and Strenx® 700MC steel construction keeps tare weight down where permit limits are tight, and each unit is configured to the specific dimensional envelope of the contract it will run.

Defense & Military Logistics

STU builds tank transporter and heavy equipment lowbeds for defense contractors, military logistics units and government fleets. Tracked and armoured vehicle transport places demands no commercial trailer meets as standard: concentrated point loads, wide track geometry, steep approach angles at improvised loading points and the requirement to move under conditions where recovery is not an option. Our heavy-duty lowbeds are built with reinforced deck structures, wide loading ramps and pendular axle options for uneven ground. Hydraulic steering and detachable goosenecks allow loading without dedicated infrastructure. Steel grade, axle count, winch capacity and deck width are specified to the vehicle inventory being moved, and every chassis is load-tested before delivery. Units are produced under confidentiality for tender-based procurement across export markets.

Mining, Quarrying & Recycling

STU builds heavy lowbed trailers and low loaders for mining operations, quarries and scrap recycling yards. Plant movement is the constant in this sector: excavators, crushers, screeners, drill rigs and loaders shifting between pits, benches and processing areas, usually over unmade haul roads where a standard trailer will not survive a season. Pendular axles, hydraulic suspension and reinforced deck structures are specified for exactly that ground. Loading happens without infrastructure, so hydraulic ramps, detachable goosenecks and winch options are configured to the machine inventory being moved. Chassis are built from S690QL or Strenx® 700MC steel with SAF, BPW or TRAX axles and WABCO or Knorr-Bremse EBS braking, and every unit is load-tested before delivery. For bulk haulage alongside plant movement, high-volume tipper bodies in wear-resistant plate remain available on request.
